July 20 1969- the walk on the Moon. Mesmerized. Watching it live on TV. Hearing that one small step etc quote.
I was 19 about to venture to my first year of university. Grade 13 made us a little older heading off to post high school ventures.
It seemed so exciting. Thinking it was the beginning of space exploration. There would be visits to other planets.
President Kennedy wanted it to happen before the end of the 1960s and well it did. In the nick of time.
