Car serviced today. Feel like going on a road trip. But can only do short day trips. By taking a circle and seeing what is in 1 hour more or less from home then it is doable.

I find there is something about being on the road. Driving down a highway. Viewing the scenery. Stopping for diner food. Taking pictures from a speeding car with that speed setting on the camera.
Resting somewhere new.
What was your longest road trip?
Did you travel across the country? The province?
Ours were those trips to Florida where we would drive for almost 25 hours. Sane people would stop overnight in Kentucky!!
But the memory of those trips are romantic. The reality- sore butt and sea legs!!
