My back garden is a jungle. So seeing a sea of green with some flowers between the growth takes a good eye.
But my youngest grandson's eye went to my purple and white iris.
Other colours are in the garden too.
He started to reflect on how the white is with the purple. We talked about the mixing of bulbs and maybe that is how the colour came to be.
He noticed the flower for a long time.
Nature is something he loves so much.
Spending time with grandchildren and listening to them keeps me young!!
