THE COLD OF WINTER GIVES TIME FOR INDOOR EXERCISE TOO

 Outdoor activities are good for the soul. But if bitterly cold time to spend indoors doing some fun activities.

Many people have been binge TV watching. Okay for some.

Finding ways to be active indoors is good too.

Walking around the house or condo. When I lived in an apartment building there was an older gentleman that used to walk the 15 floors he would go up a flight and walk that floor then go up another flight and walk that floor etc.

Houses with more than one floor give the opportunity to go up and down stairs. Good workout.

Weights.



Exercise equipment.

Yoga on a carpet or yoga mat.

Dancing to music.

Stationary exercises that work the body.

Sitting apparently is the new smoking. So getting up and moving every few hours or more is a good thing.

And it lessens the boredom of just sitting and watching TV or reading or whatever.

Stimulates the mind and body.

So now for me to get going and take my own advice.
