FINDING A WAY TO GET TO OUR DESTINATION

Goals and life's objectives can take different paths or roads. Like Aesop's fable -The Tortoise and The Hare- some of us are faster than others. But plodding along helps us to get there. It brings me to age. We can plod along at any age. Like learning! It is life long. Each year at graduation ceremonies there will be an elderly person deciding to receive that long sought out degree! Why not? The tortoise-the old guy finally crossed the finish line! We can drive the fastest car or take a jet or a speed boat in life. Walking, biking, paddling the canoe often reveals the smaller details of our environment and community. Just ask any photographer that can stand in a spot and snap photos in every direction finding images that others might miss. Having a destination in mind is great! Enjoying the view and people along the way is even better!

  1. Life is life-long so enjoy the journey. Hint: it's more fun if you carry a camera along with you to record some of the special moments.
