VEGETABLES ARE GOOD FOR YOU!

Especially the green ones! Healthy eating at all ages keeps our energy levels high! For the person with diabetes the green vegetables are free! Eat as much of them as your little heart desires! A nice bowl of brussel spourts is always a welcome addition at festive meals! What are your favourite vegetables? Are they green? Are you looking forward to the summer garden with lots of beans and lettuce growing?

  1. Yummy looking brussel sprouts! My favourite veggies include sweet and hot peppers, green and yellow onions, elephant garlic, broccoli, snap peas, green beans, carrots, yukon nad sweet potatoes, asparagus, okra, beets, various kinds of beans, bok choy, various lettuces, and spinach. I know some of these are technically fruits or flower buds but I consider all of them to be good veggies.
