With many celebrations, balloons can be present. It is always wise to watch the cheap ones as there are those horror stories where a child has choked on a balloon and died. The big latex ones that are attached to a bannister or anchored that can be seen and not used as a toy are good. It just makes the party fun to have a balloon and see how long the helium will last. We had an anniversary balloon that stayed in the front hall for over a month. The little ones loved to see it was still going strong. Of course a recent birthday had granpa sitting with all the children and his balloon! Great photo opportunity!
