Winter months are a bad time for colds, viruses and this year a terrible flu. Sometimes parents do not want to bother to take a little one to the doctor. They don't want to be told " it is only a cold!" Don't hesitate if you think you want your child checked. Many ailments start with a fever, coughing, vomiting and yes can be something that will pass. But there are family doctors, walk-in clinics and emergency rooms at hospitals! I always tell a parent if you are concerned then go to a health professional for piece of mine and have the little one examined. A sore throat can be strep and you want the antibiotics! Remember a little one can spike a fever faster than the adults! As the parents, you use your judgement and do what is best for your family and yourselves.
Good advice. Well worth sharing on my FB page.
