NO HORSING AROUND!

I love the English language because it uses the same word to mean different things. Yes the picture is of a horse very calmly eating some grass.

The horse can be used to describe life. Life is like a horse race. You can start out last but end up first.

Horses like the Queen's horses are used in parades and even the Royal Wedding- 2011 had lots of horses. The horse is such a significant animal in history. Just think of the cowboy and the Wild West! Or the Calgary Stampede! Sometimes the horse just entertains us as we see from Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride!
Good thing we eat like a pig sometimes and not like a horse! Some people have a horsey laugh! So really no horsing around today!

  1. “A horse loves freedom, and the weariest old work horse will roll on the ground or break into a lumbering gallop when he is turned loose into the open.”

Nice photos, Barb. Looks like you had a great day at the track.
