A ROLLING STONE

GATHERS NO MOSS!

Is a popular phrase that is often used in a psychiatric assessment. The patient is asked what does it mean to you. So what does it mean!
I find moss growing in the Canadian bush especially on logs to be quite pretty. I could not resist taking a photo of some.
So what does moss growing on a log mean? Well I have no answer! Do you?

  1. Moss needs a moist environment and a log holds water and thus provides a great place for moss. Because mosses have no vascular system to carry water through the plant, they must have a damp environment in which to live, and a surrounding of liquid water to reproduce.
