Niagara on the Lake is a beautiful region in the Niagara area.
It is one of many areas that houses wineries.
Over the years several visits have been made to this area.
Social Club visit with a bus tour group
Jackson- Triggs
Caroline Cellar
Laila
Marynissen
An overnight with Adolph 2013 we revisited the Marynissen Estates.
Pretty sign and grounds at Inniskillin.
Small winery but good to visit.
Muskoka chairs in front of Marynissen.
Sonya and I visited 2018.
We took the wine bus tour.
Another view. Another year of Marynissen.Peller where we had an inside tour of the facility.
Pillitteri Winery.
That wine tour bus.
A drive to visit the Chateau Des Charmes.
And fields of sunflowers.
2019
Back in 2019 for a Sip and Sizzle event. Each winery with a ticket let us sip some wine and have a small hot appetizer.
Wayne Gretskey estates. Fun place with lots of hockey stuff.
Stratus winery.
Orchard at Pilliteri that we had visited the previous year.
So staying away for two years
Again in 2022 after a recess of visits due to Covid, Sonya and I ventured to the Niagara on the Lake region.
First to a tulip farm in Fenwick.
Then an early Mother's Day lunch at Two Sisters Winery.
Rabbits are the mascot for the winery. Told by our server it is due to the rabbit ragu but I think otherwise. There must be a story.
They built the distillery in a heritage style like the region.
The region has more than wineries. Farms. Fresh produce. Orchards.
I always buy a bottle of wine at each winery.
Of course one could visit Niagara Falls too.
We hope to make it an annual event again of visiting the many interesting and fun places in this part of Ontario, Canada.
