The Tulip Festival in Ottawa is so impressive.
I could visit every year for the amazing displays. A gift from the Netherlands of so many bulbs every year for housing their royal family during World War Two.
On our 40th anniversary trip Adolph and I visited Ottawa in May 2011.
There were displays of tulips as well as wooden tulip art. Tulips painted in many colours and designs. Similar to the moose art sculptures in Toronto in 1999.
So I thought I would revisit those moments with my photos.

Love the colourful tulip!!

We visited the War Museum. Yes there were tulips there too!
With relevant museum logos and drawings on it.
It is so much fun when one theme like a painted wooden tulip can bring so many artistic ideas and themes.
Have you been to the Canadian Tulip Festival? What about a trip to Ottawa?
