TO WALK OR NOT TO WALK-THAT IS THE QUESTION

I used to walk to work and walk home everyday. A wonderful found exercise.
So walking is the easiest exercise to do. Walk on a road. Walk on a treadmill. Walk around the mall as a mall walker.
It is a weight bearing exercise so is very good for your bones.
So how to find opportunities to walk. For example, at the mall- park further from the door and walk in. Get up at lunch time and walk around the office or if possible go outside for a little walk.
When I used to eat lunch outside at work during the warmer weather, it was amazing how many staff went for a noon hour walk.
Even while watching TV walking on the spot is possible. Try it with some 2lb weights in your hands and ankle weights. Works!!
Have young children get used to walking. When I take the grandchildren to the park- we walk. They want to use the car but walking is better. Besides for this Nana it helps them to burn off some energy.
If a stressful situation walking away is a good thing. Can walk away from a fight. Can walk away from toxic people!
So to walk or not to walk- do you have the answer!!
