So turning 69 was quite funny to two of my grandsons. They were thinking of the sexual overtones.
Yes my husband and I turned 69 in January.
We also graduated from Langstaff Secondary School in June 1969. We started university September 1969.
There was a hit parade song- The Summer of 69 recorded after the year. It was by Byran Adams on his 4th album in 1984.
!969 was the end of the 60s. A decade of hippies, mini skirts, trying drugs, Motown music, The Beatles, the war in Viet Nam raged on, 2 Kennedys were shot, Martin Luther King and lots of significant news items.
So what's in a number. Well it seems lots!! Yes it is the number before 70.
