GETTING READY FOR EASTER

Easter that special time for Christians brings a different preparation than Christmas. Not as much hoopla. More religious. Starting today with Palm Sunday- the day Jesus went into Jerusalem. People with palm and olive branches. A wonderful image. Not just chocolate and Easter bunnies!

Easter lillies with all their symbolism for home and as gifts to family members.

The cross used on many items like cards and even a bookmark! Easter is a good time for reflection about the meaning of Christianity. Trying to revisit the qualities of love, life and forgivenes. Reaching out to others. What do you do for Easter? Any special traditions? For me a quiet Easter dinner this year with just immediate family. It has been a busy and tiring last few months so the less work the better. Besides time to watch those favourite Easter movies like Ben Hur!
