In our immediate family, we were fortunate not to lose just one person in the two world wars.
Ernie Ellis served in World War One.
Antonio Di Mambro in World War One. Died in 1918.
Ellie Park served in World War Two.
Parkin Alton served in World War Two.
Jim Ward in two Afghanistan missions.
Remembering the service and thanking them is always an important family gesture.

Oh we had a family friend Amy Evans who served in England for Canada. It is where she met her husband Jack.
