RESILIENCE- A WORD FOR OUR TIMES

To return to our original state after shock, depression, life's traumas.

In our COVID-19 times, our original state has changed. The world has changed, Canada has changed, our communities have changed and even our families have changed.

Resilience to me means getting through the tough times. Standing on my two feet.

Maybe for the better. Maybe for the worst. Maybe just standing.

Moving one foot forward is resilience. Getting up and getting going. Slowly is really good enough.

Don't need preaching. Don't need advice.

Love. Unconditional. Even with its shadows.

Support. Unconditional.

Compassion. Unconditional.

Family. More than ever. Especially little people hugs.

All the sayings- we are in this together works.

Alone but in a collective.

No one has all the answers. But we need positive ones. The negativity abounding is deafening. Go away.

Positive vibes win the race for resilience.

Resilience is the word for our times. We are making it. We are doing it. We are getting there. With proper Public Health protocols in place of course!!
