Our mothers teach us many things. Mine taught me to have a career because I saw how bored she was as a full time homemaker.
We have had strong teachers both men and women.
We have doctors both men and women.
We have many people in many different fields that we can feel strongly about their endeavors.
I remember certain women in my life.
Those that lost children and babies.
Those that cared for sick loved ones.
Those that got up every day, went to work and came home from work to carry on those daily household duties.
Those that knew how to kiss a boo boo the right way.
Those that were there through thick and thin.
Women are still fighting for equal rights in many countries. Our own country can still do more to have an even playing field.
Sports needs to catch up!! Men still make more. Even in movies pay equity does not prevail.
Raise strong women and strong men that support the needs of each other.
