On my morning walk, it was evident that it was a holiday Monday. The quiet. Less traffic. No crowd of people at the bus stop at Major Mackenzie and Yonge Street. Nice to have the peaceful atmosphere. The girls and families are both away for the weekend enjoying the country of central Ontario.
So Lord Simcoe, the reason we celebrate the day can be thanked.
