The Iris is one of those beautiful surprises in your garden. The long green stems with the flower that can present in a variety of colours. Tall and regal, what a delight for the gardener. Walking to work one of the neighbours up the street had a wonderful array of irises. Then again going for my mail, another neighbour had the flower blooming well. Mine are budding and about to burst. The Iris-a Canadian gardener's delight!
