What started as an idea in Nova Scotia in 2007 to combat against bullying has involved into pink shirt day. A day to think kindness and anti-bullying. Unfortunately we have to teach not to bully. We have to teach tolerance.
But think just this week at an arena in Quebec a family of a black hockey player was bullied in the stands. Come on! It's 2019.
So helping our children to be aware. Think pink. Wear pink. Even Nana and Granpa are wearing pink today. Not going anywhere in this snowy weather but the thought is there.
Be kind. Everyone counts!!
