From Ottawa and coast to coast, regions are celebrating winter with their own winter festivals. Richmond Hill had the Winter Carnival a few weeks ago. Regina is having one this week. Ski competitions abound. Embracing winter is very Canadian. Even for Family Day a special skating party at Nathan Phillip Square with a live band. For many just getting out and having a walk- sometimes with the dog is the winter fest. Winter Festivals!
