NANA SAYS GRADUATIONS ARE IMPORTANT TIMES
June has graduation parties and ceremonies at many levels. Universities and colleges have convocation. Graduating starts at a young age. Adolph and I were able to attend the graduation of two of our grandsons going from Senior Kindergarten to Grade 1. Their Day Care had a wonderful little ceremony with grad pictures and all. They sang a little song and told us what they learnt in Kindergarten. Seeing little children feeling proud about their accomplishment was endearing. Sitting there it seemed strange as the question arose in my mind- where did the time go? Was it not just yesterday that my daughters were graduating from Kindergarten? There are so many stepping stones in children's lives. Being there for them and clapping and telling them you are proud is so important to emotional development. It starts young to support children in school endeavors. Making school seem important is a family affair. So with two sets of parents, siblings and two sets of grandparents our little ones knew their efforts were honoured.
