CANADIAN PARADES ARE FUN

Cookie monster was a big hit at the local parade. It could be seen far in the distance before it made it to where we were sitting. The children loved it.

But at the Thanksgiving parade in New York City, large blown up characters like this are the norm. For us locales, it was fun. What is it about parades that draw crowds? I wonder when parades originated. Perhaps a little research in the New Year to look at this concept. Are you having a local parade? What is the theme? Here in Canada there are many Santa Claus or Christmas or Holiday parades occurring across the country! Attending at least one is a must for everyone!
