Tulips are everywhere. By the Library in Richmond Hill.
At the Tulip Festival held in Ottawa every year, thanks to the Dutch for their generous gift. We housed their royal family during World War Two so they have given us tulip bulbs in return.
Even in downtown Toronto, there are enclaves housing those beautiful flowers.
Doesn't a side street like Yorkville come alive with these beautiful yellow kind?
Needless to say there are many varieties growing in my garden beds right now. Oh the mighty tulip! There should be poems and songs sang about you. Do you have tulips in your garden? How many colours do you have? They are almost too divine for words!!
And of course, there are several purple ones in my garden!!
Tulips can be beautiful, but too short-lived. Mine are now in the bud stage.
