A short drive to find some woodlots with fall colours revealed some areas close to home that have potential photo opportunities. All the summer rain has kept the trees greener longer so the full array of colour is slowly happening.
There is a sense of connection with nature. Trees are earth's most important resource. So is that why just driving and viewing the colours brings such joy. There are bus trips north to see the colours. Pictures are taken. Postcards are made with them. Too early to capture them all. Another country drive is planned. I know the spots and the safe parts of the road to pull over to snap some of nature's beauty.
