WHEN OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS

Do you open the door? Life can be funny and occurrences happen beyond our control. But sometimes there are opportunities. There is an offer that can not be refused. Has it happened to you? What did you do about it?

When life gives opportunities, do you recognize them? Have there been times in your life that opportunity knocked and you did not answer the door? Were you sleeping? Not paying attention? It is difficult to take every opportunity that comes our way. Sometimes we are not ready! Sometimes there is too much on our plate. For example, a young Mom, just had a new baby and can not try to go for that management position due to the family commitments. Opportunity knocked at the wrong time. The good thing about life is that often other opportunities do come along.

MONDAY BLUES

The change in weather-colder today- sure fits with the mood. A busy stressful weekend can bring a need for an extra day off just to rest! The good thing about Mondays is the opportunity to start again. New cases from the weekend offer new challenges. The bad thing it is Monday! Usually, I am okay with the start of a new week. Today the mood is different! Our moods do affect how we see the world. It is strange isn't it? The glass- half empty, half full theory! Sometimes we do see it half full and see joy. Sometimes we see it half empty and see sorrow. The same glass, the same world! Good mood, bad mood! How are you feeling today? Do you have a hard time with Mondays or is it just another day? What do you do to try to change your mood? Or do you just accept that sometimes a low mood helps us to appreciate the good times?

I entered a new door of life! The door was slammed in my face! Didn't answer the door so missed an opportunity. " I adore you!" Shut the door on your way out! Do you have a favourite door?
