APOCALYPTIC IS WHAT WE ARE CALLING THE ORANGE HAZE FROM THE SMOKE FROM THE WILD FIRES IN NORTHERN ONTARIO

The smoke from the wild fires in Northern Ontario have taken a toll on the GTA.

Yesterday the haze did feel apocalyptic. It was eerie to say the least.

Is it how things will be from now on? We have had smoke from fires previously blanketing the city. So it is not the first time.

I texted Tom and Katherine in the north checking up on them. Tom fights forest fires as his job. So fires are known to him. But how close is it to Geraldton where they live. And Ron in the Soo. Is he affected too?

I still went for my walk this morning and have been going outside in small doses. No gardening yet as it will need more time to be exposed. So I will wait to chop things back. Besides I do think the greenery will help with air quality.

So hoping the fires keep at bay.
