A MORNING WALK AND THOUGHTS ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY HELPERS

On my walk this morning I stopped and chatted with a lady who said happy Canada Day. She is a PSW for a private patient who had a stroke and has needed help for years. I told her- Tess- she was a special person to provide the wonderful care she does every day.

One Regional police car and then a York Region Poèice  regular car went by me. Working on a Stat holiday. I thought about the losses in June of 3 officers in Canada. They served and protected and lost their lives..

Near the little park, an ambulance went up the hill beside me. I remembered my rides in 2018 with Adolph,

Community helpers. Serving people. How lucky to live where people serve and protect.

Yes you can have lots of money and be happy. But there is something valuable about the people in our communities that are there for us

First responders, PSWs, Health Care workers and so many more.

Thank you.
