AMERICAN THANKSGIVING IS DIFFERENT THAN A CANADIAN ONE

Firstly it is in a different month. There are pilgrims involved. Both do celebrate the harvest. It falls on a Thursday and the next day is Black Friday. It has an amazing parade in New York City that is attended by thousands of people and watched on TV. Canadians send their Happy Thanksgiving to friends and relatives there. Both have turkey with all the trimmings, although their trimmings may be a little different. Not sure if they use cranberry sauce as a condiment. People fly, drive, take a train or bus or even walk to get home for the special day. The stock market in the US is closed for the day. Can you think of other comparisons?
