CIVIC LONG WEEKEND IN ONTARIO CANADA

Many provinces have Monday as a civic holiday. In Ontario it is a civic holiday for Lord Simcoe one of the earlier statesmen  in the province that established some laws and good government. Yonge Street was created by him in the 1790s. I love history and all that goes with the reason for the day. What I really love more is the fact it is a long weekend!
