Northeast of Toronto, easily reached by car on good highways, Lindsay is nestled in the Trent-Severn Waterway system. Now known as the City of Kawartha Lakes!
Adolph and I had a lovely visit to the Lindsay Farmers' Market. Lindsay Market Trip
In the old historic part of the town it was started in 1859.
Queen's square is beside the market which is on Victoria Street between Kent and Peel streets.
Interesting buildings on the street.
At the end of the market was this beautiful house.
Trevor Dobbs writes about Historical Sites of Lindsay. Perhaps I will try his tour of those properties one day.

Downtown Lindsay.
Honouring those that served for Canada. It was quick trip. There seems to be more to see so perhaps some historical research and a broader story is warranted.
