Canada and United States are neighbours. Our nations' anniversaries are 3 days apart. So often we cross borders celebrating each other's big days. Lots of fireworks! Canada benefits from the tourism dollars our neighbour brings to us. Here over the weekend to celebrate the 4th, Pride parade and some probably attended the Queen's Plate it was a banner weekend. Canadians spending vacation time in America benefits them as well. We should have a mutual celebration. Last week the Three Amigos- the leaders of Canada, US and Mexico met. A wonderful alliance of neighbours. Is there another place on the planet where neighbours feel so comfortable with each other! Celebrations are wonderful! Especially if we celebrate together! Here's to another day of fun! Enjoy! Like good neighbours, our borders keep us friendly and separate! Respecting each others' differences!
