APRIL FIRST-A DAY TO FOOL AROUND

April 1 or April Fool's Day was never more welcomed than this year. There is a sense that winter is really behind us, well except in some parts of Canada. However I remember many April storms and bad weather. My Spring baby Sonya was born on an April 4th that evolved into  terribly cold ice rainy weather for 4 days. So I always expect April to be warmer but know it will be what it will be. As for jokes on this day, I am not a prankster so really do not like to do anything radical. With close people some joking around or even gentle sarcasm or witty comments can be the day today or any day.  So April, another month and time to begin anew. The Romans considered it-Aprilis to be sacred to their Goddess of love-Venus. Or according to sources it may have been taken from the Greek Goddess-Aphrodite. With all the chirping of the song birds out there, perhaps they were right those Romans. There will be baby birds soon. Is love in the air? Well let's hope so!!
