INSPIRATION-HAVE YOU BEEN INSPIRED?

 Who inspires you? What inspires you? Do you take moments to reflect on your life to find meaning? Are there events that have shaped you? Or has a life lived so far given reason to continue? When you have your down moments where do you turn? Your faith? Your family? Your accomplishments to keep you going? Have you found places that make you stop and view the world? A top of a mountain or high hill? The top of a famous tower? Beside a babbling brook? High in the sky in a plane? Did you have a good parent? A teacher? A boss? So your inspiration-where did it come from?

INSPIRATION IN RUSSIAN

A Russian born colleague gave me a chocolate bar when she was leaving the job. She told me the title means Inspiration and it was very good Russian chocolate. She wanted me to know I was the best Social Worker she had ever had on a team and as a person. I inspired her. The gesture was very sweet but also very humbling for me. To know I had inspired her made my day. In my life, there have been people who have inspired me. Inspiration can mean a force on poets, artists, musicians, stimulating creative activity, excited thoughts etc. Thank you to my colleague for such an acknowledgegment. Have you inspired someone? INSPIRATION

Is a wonderful word that conjuresup different meanings for different people. A stimulation for creative activity says the dictionary. We can be inspired by God, a teacher, a parent, a friend, an idea. Our own actions can inspire another to do a task, complete a dream. We all have been both in our lives- getting inspiration from someone or something or inspiring others to tackle their aspirations. Look beyond the mountain to the other side- it is waiting for you.
