ROMANCE STORIES HAVE THEIR MERIT-FAVOURITE SCENES THAT I LOVE THE MOST

 Over the years there have been so many romance stories and sex scenes and spicy moments.

The most famous is Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr in From Here to Eternity on the beach, making it in Hawaii.

Love Story with Oliver and Jennie. The library scene and how they met and started their love story.

As most of you know, I have always been a Robert Redford fan. Loved his movies and social activism.

Out of Arica was one of my favourites but the ending at his burial where Karen says how he was never hers is so heart wrenching, When someone loves someone unconditionally.

So many other moments in his movies. That blonde hair and blue eyes. 

Leap Year- with Anna and Declan declaring their love.

The Choice- You bother me and be my wife scene. Priceless

The Vow- the ending outside the store and wanting to try something new.

The Madison- Abby and Van. I can turn the siren on and drive like a bat out of hell.

1923- Spencer and Alex. So many scenes and moments. Let's look death in the eye.

Landman- Charlie and Rebecca. I'm lonely now.

PS I Love You- Meeting on the path then the scene in the Pub- Galway Girl song. Holly and Gerry

Copious Hallmark movies got me through the first two years of my grief. So many stars in those movies and many of the men were born in Canada. 

Heated Rivalry- especially the story of Kip and Scott.

And now Off Campus- so many stories within the story. Garrett and Hannah finding each other through all their pain. I admit I have watched this whole series at least 5 times and special scenes many times.

Romance is an escape. But identifying with characters always brings one's own romance to the foreground.

I see a younger Adolph in so many characters. The young romance reminds me of my young romance and why I fell in love with him.

Inside this old lady body is a romantic. A person who loved.

So I can watch those special moments of many movies I loved again and again. Who needs a Soap Opera?
