At Ransom Park in the heart of Richmond Hill, people gathered to greet the riders on their Richmond Hill leg of the ride from Vancouver to St. John's Newfoundland.
Terry Fox had passed through Richmond Hill June 30, 1980 on his Marathon of Hope. Many people in the crowd were there that day.
Local politicians, first responders and many committee people greeted the riders.
