SHADOWS REVEAL SO MUCH

On a walk to take some photos close to home, I noticed some many noon hour shadows. It had me thinking about the shadows in our lives. We all have a light side and a dark side. Light helps to cast our shadows.

Our shadows can be our secrets, our private thoughts! They can be our negative thoughts and parts of ourselves we really do not want to share with others. Our shadows!

EARLY MORNING- A TIME FOR RENEWEL

Each day brings a chance for renewel. New goals, new conversations, new hope! Mornings give us a chance to forge ahead! To look down the road! To observe our world, our community, our street! To wait for the shadows to leave! A time to walk, jog, drive to work! If wanted, a time to pray and be thankful for another day! A quiet time with few people around to make noise! Mornings!

EACH DAY IS A CROSS SECTION OF LIFE'S STAGES!

Do you ever look at the same scene or section of a garden through the different times of day? As the sun crosses the sky, then the dusk, then the night, the moon's glow and back to a new day, the same spot takes on a different appearance. Like life- new beginnings, midlife, old age! Like my fence in the picture! We think we stand alone but may not be aware of the forces or shadows that influence us! Or how we and our shadows influence others! What do you see when you view this photo? It is black and white except for that little bit of green that pokes through the corner! Yes, a touch of a brown leaf, too! Does it bring up any feelings or ideas? What are your thoughts? I have lots of thoughts but I would rather know about yours!
