TIGER LILLIES ARE EVERYWHERE.

Transplanting some in the garden years ago, there are several clusters. The Orange tall flower are a wonderful addition to the summer orchestra of flowers.
Driving along some country roads, there were ditches and gardens full of this beautiful flower.

It's not Ontario's floral emblem but it surely should come in second.
Some internet research states the Swedish botanist Carl von Linne(Linnaeus) wrote about them in 1753. There are even some mediinal use with some healing power. It can also be known as the Ditch Lilly because well they are often seen in ditches. I just think they are pretty. For more information you can visit the Flower Expert.
